Summary

Provide concise business intelligence analysis (products, channels, companies, markets) with conclusions and recommendations using internal and external data sources. Consult with clients on use of findings. Analyze and report trends/news. Recommend and possibly administer potential new research.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Develops business intelligence reports that identify competitive gaps, opportunities and recommendations. Concisely report industry developments, and market trends. Identifies and recommends potential new areas of research for products and services.
  • Consults and advises clients on the application of business intelligence findings, conclusions and recommendations to validate superior strategic decisions
  • Clearly defines the resulting research project objectives and project scope. Identifies timing and resource constraints for the project and delivers information on time and budget using internal and external providers. May also administer research projects.
  • Effectively communicates business intelligence analysis and results to client areas.

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (6 years of related work experience may substitute for degree)
  • 3 years experience in competitive analysis
  • Ability to form an information network, both internally and externally
  • Leadership and Project Management skills
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in PC based analysis tools and statistical analysis software
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite

Preferred

  • Advanced degree
  • Market Research project management experience
