Job Summary: |
This position is for a postdoctoral fellow who can advance and integrate the methods on the continuum of informatics and AI-influenced care delivery using various technologies, data science, and health systems innovation. We aim to expand capacity in 'big health data', health informatics, and health systems delivery through innovative education, training, and mentoring to develop successful independent future investigators with special knowledge and understanding of telehealth, health data, informatics issues, high-value applications, health system implementation, and impact on healthcare delivery and reimbursement policy. Scholars will be able to participate in a range of projects to expand their knowledge of telehealth delivery and evaluation, AI, informatics, and high-value health systems development. Training will focus on integrating data science, stakeholder engagement, implementation science, and health services research across a spectrum of on-the-ground clinical settings and disciplines as well as leadership education. The fellowship curriculum is designed to help PhD researchers develop a balanced research skill set in the combined areas of data science and patient-centered health services research. Scholars will learn rigorous state-of-the-art data science methodologies and applications to address pressing health problems and advance the science of person-centered, high-value healthcare across the care continuum by integrating different stakeholder perspectives, including payer systems and care delivery systems as learning and innovations partners. Additionally, scholars will have the opportunity to engage in existing CUSOM programs spanning both child and adult health in a range of over 50 health subspecialties, providing unique experiences in scientific research areas including stakeholder engagement, shared decision making, health data informatics and analytics, patient-driven value, and care Innovations to develop a new generation of health data and patient-centered care research scientists. The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE: $60,008-$74,088 The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
