A week in the life of aOracleDBA:

• InstallOracle 7,8,8i,9i,10g,11g,11i binaries, upgrade and patch, re-linking of executables, migrate and upgrade databases and applications, and back up types physical/logical, hot and cold.
• Install, configure, back up, recover, upgrade, patch, migrate SQL tuning and database tuning.
• Administer and troubleshoot Oracle databases including security patching, capacity planning, and schema design.
• Perform daily monitoring of database environment and takecorrective action, as necessary.
• Develop backup and recovery policies and procedures for Oracle databases for both physical and logical failures.
• Support X2, X3, X4, X5, X6, and X7 for HW, SW, patching, performance, and network issues.
• Create two node Hadoop cluster (version 2.10.0) on Ubuntu.
• Design and implement the complete RMAN solution for backup and recovery.
• Support Oracle Exadata andExalogicdeployments.

If this position is performed from Colorado, pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is$106,000-$177,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. Pursuant to Colorado law, the actual compensation paid for this position may be outside of this range. • Preferred education: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in information technology management or a related field.
